Audio's Service Centre.
These days, most manufacturers contract their service out
to multi-brand service centres. That's if they actually exist
locally at all. Usually, although
not always, these places are hidden in industrial parks, well
away from the shiny showrooms full of new equipment.
So
there you are with your three-month-old treasure clutched
under your arm. It died last night. The kids nearly killed
you for ruining their evening. Now, you're judging the distance
to the front door of the service centre, because it's raining
cats and dogs, and the one thing you remember from the owner's
manual was: "Do not expose to moisture". You make a run for
it anyway.
At Peak Audio, we maintain our own service centre, because
we want to service what we sell. It's that simple. We have
dropped lines which refused to let us perform warranty repair,
and if you're reading this, you guys, you know who you are.
Sorry, that attitude doesn't square with us at all. We feel
we owe it to our customers to fix problems, not cause more.
We
honour the manufacturer's warranty in-house, unless the problem
is just too crazy for us to fix, which happens sometimes,
we have to admit. But not often.
We
also do a brisk trade in servicing ALL other makes and models
of audio and video equipment.

After Sales Service
We service all makes and models of audio and video equipment.
Here are our rates:
- $25.00 for an estimate of what needs to be fixed.
This is also our minimum charge.
- $50.00 per hour to repair audio equipment, plus parts.
- $50.00 per hour to repair video equipment, plus parts.
- Applicable taxes are extra.
- 60 day warranty on all work.
Because Peak Audio has retailed new tube amplifiers for some
years, we have some expertise in this area, and have repaired
all types of older tube equipment. Bring it in! |
