In-Wall system with 804 D3 Performance Levels!
CWM8.3 D is engineered to offer the very best performance for a customer requiring great sound without seeing the source. A three-way model, it features a decoupled Diamond dome 25mm (1 inch) tweeter, a 5″ Continuum FST midrange drive unit and two 7″ Aerofoil bass drivers.
The most accurate high-frequency drive unit available, the exceptionally stiff and light Diamond diaphragm ensures pure, distortion-free treble. CWM8.3 D also includes a dark Continuum FST driver for pristine midrange sound. The range’s only three-way loudspeaker also benefits from using ultra-light yet exceptionally stiff low-frequency Aerofoil drivers for incredible bass performance.
CWM8.3 D’s back box is fully Matrix™ braced, for extra rigidity and improved performance. The back box also includes bi-wirable cables that are guided to the terminal panel through tubes and connect to the baffle with a multi-pin connector. CWM8.3 D has also been developed to fit into existing back boxes enabling customers who purchased the original CWM8.3 to easily upgrade.
