Sonos Amp Multi-Room Streaming Amplifier

Precision-built for professionals
Backed by thousands of hours of research and engineering, Amp Multi was built from the ground up to streamline professional installation at every stage. It’s designed to support your workflows and help you deliver bespoke audio experiences with precision and efficiency.
Multi-zone flexibility
Each output can be assigned to any zone, giving you complete flexibility in system design. Users can easily change audio sources and content, ensuring a seamless, consistent experience.
Advanced GaN technology, Class D amplification, and post-filter feedback (PFFB) deliver exceptional audio quality with high efficiency. Its textured, thermally-optimized chassis enhances performance and durability all within a compact design built for the rack.

Manually tune each output
With ProTune, you can optimize the sound for the placement and room acoustics of any low-impedance passive speakers. This feature offers a comprehensive set of manual controls, including a 10-band parametric EQ and adjustable gain and delay offsets.
Intuitive configuration
An audible chirp identifies each unit in the Sonos app—no PIN required. Front and rear LEDs indicate setup mode for a more seamless experience.
Intelligent indicators
Speaker outputs automatically detect when a speaker is connected, while status LEDs provide real-time feedback during setup. Ambient light sensing adjusts brightness to the environment, and all indicators are configurable in the app.
Power more speakers
Select the feature Optimize Sonos Speakers in the Sonos app to unlock the ability to power up to three Sonos Architectural speakers per output (24 total). The custom DSP optimizes the EQ, while limiter control enables even and consistent volume dynamics throughout the frequency range.
Flexible connectivity
Connect via wired Ethernet or WiFi 6 and stream up to four audio sources simultaneously using the Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2, or Spotify Connect. Analogue and USB inputs provide additional flexibility, and the subwoofer output is freely assignable to any zone.
Easy app control
Control everything from the Sonos app—zones, sources, output assignments, and status monitoring—all in one place.
Designed specifically for Amp Multi, the 2U Rack Mount streamlines installations by reducing wasted space, maximizing airflow, and keeping cable management clean.
Built to breathe
The Rack Mount creates space above and below each unit to support airflow in a clean, 2U configuration.
Streamlined installation
With its flat back design, Amp Multi slides easily onto the Rack Mount. Installation is satisfyingly simple.
Space-saving design
Amp Multi eliminates the need for vent panels between rack units and reduces the number of screws required for installation—saving time, rack space, and hardware.
Looks right at home
Whether on a shelf, credenza, or mounted to the wall, Amp Multi’s compact design and refined finish make it an elegant addition to any space. It looks just as polished in plain sight as it does tucked into a rack.

Partner integrations offer seamless control of your Sonos system alongside all your compatible smart home devices.
