At the heart of the BR15 R2R is a FIIO proprietary quad-channel, fully differential 24-Bit R2R DAC. This DAC is composed of 48 high-precision thin-film resistors per channel, totaling 192 resistors with 0.1% accuracy and low temperature drift (30 ppm), providing a distinctive and richly textured sound. Compared to non-fully differential R2R designs, the design used in the BR15 R2R results in lower noise and fewer FFT harmonics, resulting in a darker music background.

*AAC transmission is currently not supported.

Maintains the original sampling rate for decoding, preserving authentic sound and allowing you to enjoy an organic and captivating musical experience.

Upsamples full frequency range to a high sampling rate of 384kHz*, for superior audio performance and even more refined, clear sound.

*OS mode allows for upsampling to custom sampling rates; the factory default is 192kHz. *The BR15 R2R supports 1bit DSD native decoding. Slightly lower volume when playing DSD tracks is normal - we recommend adjusting the volume to your usual listening level. The SAM: OS menu is bypassed when using DSD mode.

*The perceived difference across modes is highly subjective. We encourage users to trust their own unique listening preferences when comparing performance.

The 10-band PEQ can be used across all operating modes. Through FIIO’s proprietary tuning algorithm and dedicated app, users can access multiple preset sound signatures, such as retro and pop, or simulate/correct the frequency response of their gear. With the ability to export, import, share, and save EQ curves, you can effortlessly play with and perfect your tuning. Is manual fine-tuning too complex? AUTO EQ and sound presets make it easy to get started. AUTO EQ enables diverse sonic experiences—just upload or select your headphone’s original data and your desired target curve.

*When PEQ is enabled, the maximum supported sampling rate is PCM 192kHz/24bit.

*AUTO EQ is currently unavailable under Bluetooth decoding mode.

Fully balanced audio circuit

The entire signal path—from the R2R DAC and LPF to the volume control— uses full-differential signal handling, resulting in low noise, minimal distortion, and large dynamic range. Furthermore, it is equipped with a pop noise elimination system, which further guarantees the integrity and robust nature of the audio circuitry.

AC/DC dual power supply design

The internal high-quality switching power supply ensures the device is fed with clean power. It is also equipped with an external DC power port*, giving you the flexibility to pair the device with a high-performance linear power supply and unlock a new sound.

*When using external DC power, ensure the power supply provides 5V output, ≥2A current, and uses a 5.5×2.1mm jack.

*The device automatically switches to prioritize DC power when a DC source is connected.

Custom LCD display Song info clear at a glance

The custom 1.47-inch color display offers various themes and clearly presents the song title, artist, and lyrics* during Bluetooth playback. Users can also quickly check device status information like the sampling rate, volume, and EQ settings.

* Lyrics display requires the Bluetooth transmitting source to be compatible with the BR15 R2R. When using the FIIO Music App, activate the "External Device Bluetooth Lyrics" function in the settings.
