High-fidelity 40mm dynamic driver Audio quality is not secondary to style
We've addressed the typical low-frequency leakage found in classic on-ear designs by implementing a bass-optimized driver in the EH11. These on-ear headphones' audio quality is anything but "retro", offering far more than just adequate sound. We selected a 40mm long-throw driver with a high-damping composite diaphragm to push the resonant frequency down to 60Hz. This allows the EH11 to achieve powerful, dynamic bass extending down to 17Hz, allowing it to capture the full spectrum of low-frequency instruments. You'll experience sharper attack and decay on drums, plus superior instrument separation and layered depth when enjoying intricate classical pieces.
Semi-open design V
entilated comfort and minimized sound leakage
The headphones’ semi-open design, with ventilation ports and damping filters, eliminates the “stuffy” feel typically associated with closed-back headphones. The result is a more open soundstage, clearer mid-to-high frequencies, as well as more natural and transparent vocals. Compared to fully open-backed headphones, the damping system controls air flow to minimize sound leakage.
LDAC hi-res Bluetooth support Near-lossless audio quality
The EH11 supports the LDAC High-Definition Bluetooth encoding format*. With a transmission rate of up to 990 kbps, which is roughly three times that of standard Bluetooth formats (SBC/AAC), LDAC carries significantly more raw audio data during transmission - resulting in near-lossless sound quality. As one of the select few Bluetooth codecs in wireless transmission to receive the Hi-Res Wireless certification, it is widely recognized in the industry as a premium high-resolution Bluetooth standard.
* To use this feature, your source device (phone) must support LDAC output. Due to the larger volume of data transferred, using LDAC will result in a marginally higher power draw. The format is enabled by default, but can be deactivated via the FIIO Control App.

The foam earpads are easy to take off and replace, making them easy to clean.
Included are two sets of earpads, each set a different color. The spare pair of earpads are conveniently included, as the original earpads will eventually be replaced.
